blox Theme Docs

A reference for editors using the blox HubSpot CMS theme. Every module has its own page documenting every setting, what it does, when it shows, and what its options are. Use the sidebar to jump to a specific module or browse by category below.

What is blox?

blox is a HubSpot CMS marketplace theme built around 25 drag-and-drop content modules plus three structural modules (Header, Footer, Header Override). Each content module is a self-contained page section with its own field settings: heading text, layout choices, color pickers, repeaters for multi-item lists, and shared style controls for section dividers, badges, backgrounds, and spacing.

The theme is designed for editors who want full visual control without writing code. Every field is editable in the HubSpot page editor, and modules can be combined freely to build landing pages, blog posts, case studies, pricing pages, and more.

How to use these docs

Each module doc page mirrors the structure you see in the HubSpot editor:

  • Start Here - the most-used controls that define the section's basic shape (layout, heading, columns).
  • Content - the actual content fields (text, images, repeaters for list-style data).
  • Custom ID & Classes - editor-set CSS hooks for advanced styling.
  • Style Settings - colors, borders, radii, badge tier, section dividers, background, size, and spacing.

Every field entry includes its type (toggle, select, color, etc.), default value, a "Shown when" note if the field is conditionally visible, a plain-language description, and an options list for select fields.
